95 Broad Street Charleston SC--Luxury Simplified Office

On Friday night, Luxury Simplified and Anglin Smith Fine Art teamed up to raise money for River Oaks Home for Girls, an orphanage that will be built on Johns Island. The private event, held at 95 Broad Street, included a silent auction of four works generously donated by Betty Anglin Smith, Jennifer Smith Rogers, Shannon Smith Hughes and Tripp Smith. Guests enjoyed a selection of French wines, food prepared by An Epicurean Feast and the sounds of the Spanish Classical Guitar by Tom Noren. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the importance of home—regardless of its form.

River Oaks Home for Girls will be the only home of its kind in Charleston County. Its mission is “to give each girl the opportunity to realize they were created for a purpose, to give them the support and love to be able to dream, to nurture the belief that they can fulfill their destiny and most importantly, to live a life of love that pours back into the lives of others and changes the community around them.”

In total, $6,300 was raised, but more is still needed in order to achieve the orphanage’s fundraising goal. If you are interested in learning more about this project and what you can do to help, please contact Sarah-Payne Wilson, Chairman of the Board, at 843.442.4684.
